What’s New in the 2025 Toyota Sequoia?
Safe, Hefty, & Reliable in Typical Toyota Style
The 2025 Toyota Sequoia continues the Toyota tradition of delivering reliable transportation with innovation and safety at its heart. The massive full-size SUV is appropriately named, as it truly is a sequoia-sized three-row SUV with seating for seven or eight passengers.
This versatile and capable SUV has up to 86.9 cubic feet of cargo space and a powertrain designed for daily driving and epic road trips. You can explore the newest Toyota Sequoia at the best Toyota dealership near Brandon and Wesley Chapel, Florida: Toyota of Tampa Bay.
Cowboy Up with New Trims & Exterior Colors
Toyota made the Sequoia even more interesting by adding a seventh trim level: the 1794 Edition. This trim is the second-highest option, sitting just above the well-equipped Platinum and off-road TRD Pro trims. It comes with massaging front seats, brown leather upholstery, walnut wood grain accents, and second-row captain’s chairs. The capable cowboy-inspired trim features unique star-embellished badges, 20-inch wheels, a massive panoramic sunroof, and a towing package.
Along with the new trim level, Toyota also added a new exterior color: Mudbath. The unique color is only available on the TRD Pro trim.
Of course, the Sequoia is still available in the SR5, Limited, and Capstone trims for drivers who prefer the traditional Sequoia styling.
Respectable Power & Technology
The full-size Sequoia comes equipped with an appropriately sized engine. All trims come with a twin-turbocharged 3.5-liter V6 paired with an electric motor. The mild-hybrid engine delivers 437 horsepower and a mind-blowing 583 lb-ft of torque. The engine is paired with a 10-speed automatic transmission, and the SR5 and Limited have standard rear-wheel drive. Four-wheel drive is available and comes standard on the higher trims.
Toyota loads the Sequoia with driver-assistance features. The entry-level SR5 comes with technology like Blind Spot Monitoring, Pedestrian and Cyclist Detection, Lane-Keep Assist, Adaptive Cruise Control, Automatic High-Beam Headlights, a Surround-View Camera System, Front and Rear Parking Sensors, and more.
Interior tech features start with an 8.0-inch infotainment screen, a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, SiriusXM Satellite Radio, Bluetooth, a Wi-Fi hotspot, and several USB ports. Moving up to the Limited trim increases the infotainment screen to 14 inches.
